BEARING SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cloud Engineer for their Singapore office. You will set up and maintain AWS and Azure infrastructure, work with IT security to monitor privacy, and assist clients with cloud issues.

You will report to a local Manager, collaborate with cross-border APAC teams, and contribute to deployment cycles, proofs of concept, and technology evaluations. A Diploma or Degree in CS/Engineering and at least two years in cloud environments are required.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, preferably in Cloud technology.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in .NET, Python, PowerShell and Java.
• Experience managing AWS or Azure infrastructures.
• Knowledge of Linux or Windows OS; networking and security basics.
• At least one cloud certification (AWS Sys Ops Admin Associate, AZ-104, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate).

The Client

The Client is an established Singapore Business Process AI Consultancy firm. They bring the most effective and efficient changes to companies’ business processes with cutting edge AI technology.

We are searching for applicants interested in working on cloud infrastructure implementation and operation. Training is provided. You will report to a local Manager and work with cross border teams within APAC region in North Asia.

The Responsibilities

As a Cloud Engineer, you will work and coordinate closely with IT security to monitor privacy and create incident response protocols. You will be in charge of setting up and maintaining AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure. You will also offer assistance with client problems with the cloud infrastructure. In your role, as the deployment and operation cycle progresses, analyse the situation and develop technical improvement and feedback. In addition, you will work with Product Principals and System Integrators to evaluate technology solutions, run proof-of-concept tests to confirm, and choose the best option for the client.

The Requirements

You will be either a Diploma or Degree graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Fields in preferably in Cloud technology. Prior experience in Cloud environment with minimum 2 year of relevant, hands‑on experience. Excellent hands‑on scripting experience with proficiency in Dot Net, Python, PowerShell and Java, is required.

You should have managed networks, infrastructure, and managed services in AWS or Azure in practice. You also have good knowledge of at least one operating system, such as Linux or Windows. Besides that, you should have a solid grasp of networking and Security concepts will be preferred: IP addresses, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP. You have to go through the Government Security Clearance upon acceptance of offer.

You would be preferred if you possess a minimum of one cloud certification (with the same level or higher):

• AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator - Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator - AZ-104
• AWS Solution Architect -Associate.

Soft skills:

You should have good communication skills who is effective in English and another Asian language found in North Asia. You will be able to work independently and in teams, self-motivated, able to work remotely when required, or hybrid when the client requires meetings. Critical thinking is important. You should be comfortable with direct communication style of the manager.
