Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a seasoned database specialist in Singapore to help customers design and deploy cloud-native database solutions. You will be a subject matter expert for our database portfolio, guiding customers through how Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner, and Bigtable can meet their workloads.

You will coordinate with sales and engineering to resolve blockers and accelerate adoption. In this role you will lead discovery sessions, translate customer needs into cloud-centric architectures, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in the enterprise software or cloud space.
Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Be a subject matter expert for Google Cloud database portfolio (Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Bigtable).
Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Lead discovery workshops to assess environments and identify workloads for moving to GCP databases.
Support technical relationships with customers, including product briefings and proof-of-concept work.
Curate best practices on selling databases among accounts and elevate strategic mindshare.
