Job summary

Huawei in Singapore is seeking a Cloud Core Network Engineer to design, deploy and optimize cloud-based core network solutions, ensuring high availability and performance across IMS, EPC and related services. You will provide technical support for network operations and collaborate with regional teams to deliver scalable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant CS/IMS network design, deployment, operations or maintenance.
• Experience in 5G IMS new-site deployment, capacity expansion, and VoLTE-related projects.
• Experience in NFV/cloud-based deployment, post-sales support, and project management.
• Strong knowledge of VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoBB, RCS, Cloud, NFVI; experience with major mobile operators.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of IMS elements: CSCF, HSS, AS, MGCF, AGCF, ENUM, MRFC, MRFP, SBC.
• Knowledge of CS Core Network technologies: MSC/MGW, VNF, TCP/IP, VLAN, MPLS, VRRP.
• Strong problem-solving, self-motivation and ownership mindset.
• Adaptable and able to work across multiple projects and teams.
• Collaborative with cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize cloud-based core network solutions.
• Provide technical support for network operations and ensure high availability.
• Design, build and maintain cloud resources including compute, storage and networking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and core network issues.
• Implement and maintain security measures for cloud-based systems and data.
• Serve as product SME and work independently on service delivery and product development.
• Align delivery goals with network management baselines, costs and quality.
• Collaborate with regional/HQ or local teams and present technical solutions.
