Job summary

MTS SYSTEMS ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cloud Core Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud resources and core network components for IMS/EPC platforms in Singapore.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and performance, with independent delivery on service projects and close collaboration across teams. Qualifications

• B. Sc in Electronic & Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering with distinction.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in CS/IMS design, delivery and maintenance.
• Preferable experience in delivery 5G IMS site and/or capacity expansion for VoLTE-related projects.
• Preferable with NFV post-sales experience and project management in carrier business sectors.
• Skills required: proficient in VoLTE/VoWifi/VoBB/RCS/Cloud/NFVI/ related project delivery solution for major mobile operator.
• Internal and external communication and influence: able to communicate with the corresponding level of customers, and influence decision-making.
• Knowledge of IMS product NE including CSCF, HSS, AS, MGCF, AGCF, ENUM, MRFC, MRFP, SBC would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CS core network solution including MSC/MGW, VNF, TCP/IP, VLAN, MPLS, VRRP would be an added advantage.
• Self-initiative to take the responsibility of task and learn new products/technologies
• The candidate shall be adaptable and flexible to tasks or job scope being assigned.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud resources and core network components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and core network applications.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data.
• Serve as a product SME and able to work independently complete technical work in service scenarios such as project delivery, network maintenance, learning services, and service product development involving cloud core network product.
• Responsible to achieve delivery & service business objectives in aspects like network management baselines, efficiency, costs, quality or competitiveness.
• Require to work as a team with either regional/HQ or local team.
• Require to work under minimum supervision to complete tasks assigned.
• Require to be able to present technical solution professionally and have technical training for local channel partners and customers.

Job description

• Cloud Core Engineer focuses on the foundational infrastructure and delivery of cloud core platforms e.g. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Evolved Packet Core (EPC), ensuring reliability, performance and security, troubleshooting technical issues, and provide technical support to cloud-based related voice & data services.
• Responsible to design, build, and maintain cloud resources and components, including compute instances, storage, and networking.
• Responsible to design, build, and maintain the core components base on cloud-infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and core network applications.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data.
• Serve as a product SME and able to works independently complete technical work in service scenarios such as project delivery, network maintenance, learning services, and service product development involving cloud core network product.

• Minimum 10years of working experience in various CS/IMS designing, delivery and maintenance.

• Preferable with NFV post-sales experience and project management in carrier business sectors.
