Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a senior Cloud Infra Support Engineer in Singapore to ensure stable, secure, and resilient NFVI/CNIS cloud infrastructure hosting 5G and IMS workloads. The role blends hands-on operations with design and improvement of cloud platforms, guiding customers and internal teams on best practices and driving infrastructure changes for performance and resiliency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure and network operations experience.

Responsibilities

Operate and support Ericsson NFVI and CNIS platforms across production, pre-production, and lab environments for high availability of 5G/IMS and CNFs.
Provide deep technical support for CNIS data fabric, underlay/overlay routing, SDN/SDI integration, CEE and Kubernetes clusters, and storage subsystems.
Lead incident and problem management end-to-end, with RCAs and runbook updates to improve infrastructure.
Contribute to high-level and low-level design documents for NFVI and CNIS deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
Optimize performance and resiliency by analyzing capacity, traffic patterns, and failure scenarios; tune routing and placement.
