Job summary

INFRASOFT TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Senior Database Architect to lead the strategy for global database platforms, including Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres, with awareness of newer systems.

You will drive cloud migration, implement AI/ML readiness, enforce security, build self-service data capabilities, and develop end-to-end observability using Grafana and Datadog, while championing DevOps practices and IaC with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 18+ years in information technology with 15+ years middleware/webhosting and app server experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres and modern databases including CockroachDB/Cassandra.
• Experience in IT security compliance and security protocols.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible, SQL and scripting.
• Hands-on Unix/Linux and Windows administration with cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a multi-year strategic roadmap for database platforms.
• Drive cloud migration, cost optimization, latency SLAs, and AI/ML readiness.
• Enforce security protocols, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Build observability with Grafana and Datadog for database platforms.
• Develop self-service database capabilities via UI and API.
• Automate tasks using Python, Ansible or PowerShell and implement IaC with Terraform.
• Analyze customer requirements to ensure standards and compliance.
