Job summary

Infrasoft Technologies Limited in Singapore seeks a senior database architect to own a multi-year roadmap for enterprise database platforms, including Oracle, MSSQL and Postgres, with cloud-native and AI/ML readiness initiatives. You will lead the design of secure, scalable data services and drive automation using Python and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 18+ years IT experience with 15+ years middleware/web hosting in a large organization, banking preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, CockroachDB, Cassandra, NeptuneDB, etc.
• Experience in IT security compliance and SSL/server certificates.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible, SQL and Shell/Perl.
• Unix/Linux and Windows system administration experience.
• Public cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• IaC tooling like Terraform for clean, reusable modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a multi-year strategic roadmap for database platforms aligned with business goals.
• Drive adoption of AI/agentic/AIOps capabilities and self-healing of databases.
• Build end-to-end observability for database platforms using Grafana, Datadog or equivalent.
• Promote cloud-native patterns for database services on AWS or equivalent; ensure stability of on-prem apps.
• Automate tasks using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell and enforce security patches.
• Ensure adherence to information security standards and compliance activities.
• Lead DBRE and Agile practices in daily tasks.
