Job summary

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. The Clinical Sample Processor I will be based at the Singapore ICON Lab, handling daily sample shipments, performing quality checks, and entering data into ICON’s Lab Database.

This role requires attention to detail and basic computer skills. The successful candidate will work a 5-day week with shifts including Saturdays and public holidays, with double pay for holiday duties and off-in-lieu provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma degree required.
• Experience receiving daily shipments of samples and assessing samples preferred.
• Basic computer skills; accuracy and attentiveness to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily shipments of samples and materials, assess upon receipt, enter data in ICON Lab Database, and store samples per protocol.
• Barcode labeling and validation of specimens; transport to technicians for analysis.
• Adhere to safety regulations and document issues with received specimens.
• Prepare sample shipments per schedule with relevant documentation.
• Quality-check shipments to ensure correct samples and accompanying docs.
• Coordinate courier collections with Logistics for timely shipments.
