Qualifications

About the Role

Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to transforming outcomes for children, youth, and families. As a Clinical Psychologist , you will provide trauma-informed assessments, crisis interventions, and evidence-based therapies. You will play a vital role in clinical governance, team consultation, and research-driven service development.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Services & Crisis Intervention

• Triage referred cases for internal psychological services or appropriate external community agencies.

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate mental health difficulties, risk factors, and clinical formulations.

• Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based individual, group, and family therapies.

• Provide clinical crisis interventions and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences with internal and external stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Clinical Supervision

• Facilitate reflective practice sessions and clinical case consultations for multidisciplinary staff.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of therapeutic protocols and clinical workflows.

• Supervise, mentor, and guide Associate Psychologists and junior team members.

Service Development & Research

• Drive service evaluation and research initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and presenting findings at key conferences.

• Translate clinical research into frontline service improvements and cross-agency training resources.

• Collaborate with academic institutions and sector partners to advance clinical standards.

Requirements & Competencies

• Education: Master's degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.

• Professional Registration: Registered or eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or an equivalent recognized professional body.

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of clinical experience working with children, youth, and families. Experience in child protection or specialized trauma intervention is strongly preferred.

• Core Skills: Strong case formulation, diagnostic report writing, and trauma-informed therapeutic capabilities.
