Job summary

The role is based at West side polyclinics and focuses on technical leadership, service delivery continuity, and stakeholder support to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of clinical lab management and phlebotomy experience.
Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
ASCP certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and oversee day-to-day service delivery.
Supervise, mentor and assess staff competency.
Lead quality management activities and audits.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (HCSA, ISO 15189, ESS).
Evaluate and validate equipment and test methods.
Oversee equipment commissioning, calibration and maintenance.
Maintain document control and audit readiness.
Investigate issues and drive corrective actions.
Promote safety and risk management.
Monitor service performance and support investigations.
