Job summary

National Heart Centre Singapore is seeking personnel to assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology. The role is offered on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised basic medical degree, has passed the licensing examination as required, and has at least 3 years post-housemanship experience or a postgraduate qualification. English proficiency is essential, with vaccination proofs as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised basic medical degree.
• Must have passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the degree was conferred.
• At least 3 years’ post-housemanship experience as a medical officer or possess a postgraduate qualification in the relevant field.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Vaccination proof: measles immunity and diphtheria vaccination within the last 10 years.

Job description

You will assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology. Suitable candidates will be offered contract employment.

Requirements:

• A recognised basic medical degree
• Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
• At least 3 years’ post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field / specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant field /specialty
• A good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Documented proof of:

(i) Measles (or Mumps ,Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity ;and

(ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022.
