Job Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations as directed by healthcare providers.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist in the management of clinic supplies and inventory.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- CPR certification is preferred.
