Job summary

THE EXCIMER CENTRE PTE LTD is seeking a Clinic Optometrist (Provisional/Full Registration) to perform refractions, eye tests, and operate diagnostic equipment at our clinic in Singapore. You will assist doctors with LASIK procedures and provide pre- and post-operative counselling, including financial guidance to patients.

The role involves front desk duties such as registration, dispensing medications, handling payments, and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma in Optometry from a recognised local college.
• Eligible for provisional or full registration with OOB.
• Fast and independent worker with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform refraction, diagnostic eye test, full general eye check, operating diagnostic equipment.
• Assist the doctor with the functioning of LASIK equipment and simple procedures.
• Pre-operation and post-operation counselling and financial counselling for patients.
• Front counter duties – registration, dispensing of medication, collection of payment, and appointment fixing.
