Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Optometry (or equivalent).
• Registered with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) — pre-registered candidates welcome.
• Able to work independently in a community clinic setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about delivering meaningful care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct refraction and prescribe glasses to improve vision clarity.
• Manage myopia and other refractive conditions.
• Perform eye investigations using advanced ophthalmic equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate clinical equipment for smooth day-to-day operations.
• Carry out vision screenings and support outreach programmes in the community.
• Provide warm, community-based customer service to patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and the clinic team to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
