Job summary

TÜV SÜD PSB Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Diploma holder to join our testing team, focusing on environmental (climatic) tests for industrial electrical and electronic products. You will learn testing procedures, maintain test facilities, and coordinate with vendors and clients to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent.
• Fresh diploma graduates are welcome to apply.
• Results and service-oriented individual with initiative and good communication skills.
• Proactive team player with ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines.
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude.
• May be required to be stationed in external local / overseas laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and evaluate environmental (climatic) tests of industrial electrical and electronic products in accordance to international standards, especially in HPE projects.
• Ensure testing is done in compliant to safety guidelines and completed on schedule in accordance to client’s requirements.
• Prepare test and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments to resolve engineering issues or testing requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services.
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment.
• Participate in local and overseas site works including site assessment, survey, inspection, testing and commissioning as required by projects.
• Overtime and shift work may be required on project basis.
