Job summary
UBS Singapore is seeking a Risk Manager to support the Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) risk appetite and assessments. You will join the SCR Risk Appetite and Assessments team to identify, assess, and manage regulatory and related sustainability risks in a second line of defense role.
The role involves developing risk frameworks, data modelling, portfolio reviews, and enabling internal teams with training on sustainability risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in environmental, climate science, sustainability, finance, economics or business administration
- 2-5 years in risk control or sustainable investing in financial sector or consulting
- Understanding of sustainability risks, climate risk modelling, and international standards
Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of risk identification and control frameworks for sustainability and climate risk
- Assess sustainability and climate risk data using models to evaluate related risks
- Contribute to portfolio reviews and development of risk appetite, methodologies, tools, and processes
- Train other businesses and control functions on sustainability and climate risk importance
- Contribute to reporting, external disclosure and communications
- Explore AI-focused solutions to advance SCR process automation
