Job summary

A leading research organization in Singapore is seeking a Climate Domain Specialist to provide HPC and scientific advice to climate experts leveraging supercomputing for climate resilience. You will support large-scale climate application workloads and optimise their performance while collaborating with researchers. A Master's degree and experience in climate/weather simulations are required. Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or Fortran are highly desired, alongside familiarity with HPC tools and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant areas.
  • 3 years of experience in climate or weather simulations.
  • Experience in building climate/weather applications from source code.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HPC and scientific domain advice to users of NSCC systems.
  • Engage with researchers and communities with computationally intensive requirements.
  • Support and optimise large-scale climate/weather application workloads.
