Job summary

Aon is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Control Officer in Singapore to support premium closing and collections for our re/insurance clients. You will review contract terms, calculate and process premiums, monitor unallocated receipts, and liaise with clients, network offices, brokers and Finance to resolve queries.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years' credit control experience in re/insurance, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance, and strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of credit control experience in re/insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and multi-task.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Process premium closing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Review contract setup and identify unusual terms.
• Review premium calculation and ensure prompt processing.
• Ensure timely premium and claims collection.
• Monitor unallocated receipts and reconcile promptly.
• Liaise with client/network office/broker/finance for queries.
• Identify and report issues with unallocated receipts or overdue balances to Manager.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

What the day will look like

• Perform processing of premium closing with efficiency and accuracy


• Proactive in reviewing the contract setup and prompt identification of unusual terms in contract


• Review premium calculation and ensure prompt processing


• Ensure premium and claims collection are collected promptly


• Monitor unallocated receipt and ensure it is reconciled promptly


• Liaise with client/network office/broker/finance for any premium booking, processing or collection queries


• Identify & report issue relating to unallocated receipt and long overdue balance promptly to Manager


• Undertake any other works as assigned by Manager and or Supervisor

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Bachelor’s in Business / Finance or equivalent


• At least 2 years of Credit Control experience in re/insurance industry


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills


• Team player, ability to multi-task and work independently
