Job summary

Studio Kinu in Singapore is seeking a studio assistant to support shoots, engage children and pets, and keep the studio running smoothly day-to-day. The role requires a 5-day week, including at least one weekend day.

You will handle customer service before, during and after shoots, organise props and equipment, respond to enquiries on email and Instagram, and help brainstorm social media content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting photographers and working with children is preferred.
• Comfort with pets on shoots.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a small team.

Responsibilities

About Us

Studio Kinu is a family and lifestyle photography studio in Singapore, known for helping families (and their pets) feel comfortable in front of the camera. We're looking for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and children, keeps a studio running smoothly behind the scenes, and can bring creative energy to how we show up on social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the photographer during shoots, including helping children feel comfortable and engaged
• Provide attentive customer service before, during, and after shoots
• Organise and maintain studio props, sets, and equipment
• Respond to enquiry emails and Instagram DMs promptly and professionally
• Help brainstorm and execute social media content and campaigns
• Create content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to build engagement
• Studio Kinu and Kinu Supply operate under the same roof and team, so this role may occasionally support Kinu Supply with tasks such as order packing, event/pop-up help, or content, particularly during peak periods

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working with children in a studio setting; some prior experience with young children is a plus
• Comfortable around animals, particularly dogs and cats (our shoots regularly include pets)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a small-team environment
• A creative eye and familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook content formats
• Open to occasionally supporting our sister brand, Kinu Supply, during busy periods (e.g. pop-ups, product launches)
• Able to commit to a 5-day week that includes at least one weekend day (ideally both)
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore.
