Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components per orders and schematics.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identify and correct errors in assemblies or processes.
• Observe all safety standards to maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment.
• Attend health and safety training and follow applicable safety policies and procedures.
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety department.
• Follow operating instructions, use protective equipment when required, and handle equipment and materials properly.
• Actively strive to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Enter data on computer terminals for progress, expenses and labor details.
• May perform computer programming, repair or software tasks as needed.
• Receive parts and perform audits to ensure availability for builds, tests and repairs.
• Inspect parts for defects.
