Job summary

Applied Materials in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a cleanroom environment responsible for building, repairing and testing display and wafer fabrication equipment. You’ll work with electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies, following procedures to ensure quality and reliability.

We expect 1–2 years in semiconductor or related fields, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years semiconductor or display experience or related military/industry exposure.
• Ability to follow SOPs (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test equipment using schematics and parts lists.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and repairs under supervision.
• Receive parts, audit availability and inspect for defects.
• Use test fixtures, measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Document progress and performance; perform computer programming or software installs if needed.
