Job summary

SUNSTAR CLEANING SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Cleaning Supervisor to lead and supervise our housekeeping/ cleaning team, ensuring high cleanliness standards and smooth daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, reliable supervision, and the ability to work hands-on when required. You will assign tasks, train staff, monitor performance, manage inventories and handle client standards to maintain exceptional housekeeping service quality for our clients in

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning/housekeeping supervision preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willing to perform hands-on cleaning duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Assign housekeeping tasks to staff and inspect completed work to ensure required cleanliness standards are met.
• Prepare staff schedules and arrange replacements when required.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding housekeeping and cleaning services.
• Train and guide housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures and work standards.
• Conduct regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies and arrange stock orders when required.
• Issue cleaning supplies, tools and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Assist in screening housekeeping applicants and provide recommendations for promotions, transfers or termination where appropriate.
• Perform cleaning duties when required, especially during staff shortages.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline and overall work performance.
• Ensure all staff follow company procedures, workplace safety requirements and client standards.
