Job summary

Vital Thin Film Materials Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across manufacturing areas, offices, and common facilities.

You will perform daily cleaning duties in line with company requirements, ensuring a safe and organized working environment. The role requires physical fitness, ability to stand for long periods, and basic safety awareness. Training on WSQ cleaning is an advantage; prior cleaning or manufacturing experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to stand, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of workplace safety and hygiene practices.
• Experience in cleaning or manufacturing is an advantage.
• WSQ Cleaning Course is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain manufacturing areas, offices, pantry, toilets, and common facilities.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure production areas meet cleanliness and safety requirements.
• Dispose of waste according to company procedures and replenish supplies.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisor.

Working Day: 5 days (Mon - Fri)
Working Hours: 7.45am – 4.45pm
Location: West Area (Tuas)
Shuttle Bus Provided: Khatib MRT, Jurong East MRT and Lakeside MRT

Job Summary:

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping standards within the industrial premises, including manufacturing areas, offices, and common facilities. The role ensures a safe, clean, and organized working environment by performing daily cleaning duties in accordance with company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain manufacturing areas, offices, pantry, toilets, and common facilities.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure production areas meet cleanliness and safety requirements.
• Ensure meeting rooms, pantry and coffee stations are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Dispose of waste properly according to company procedures.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Support cleaning activities during audits, inspections, or special events.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing or production environment.
• Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures.
• Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Requirements:

• Primary or secondary school education is preferred.
• WSQ Cleaning Course certification is an advantage.
• Previous cleaning or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work independently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and hygiene practices.
