Job summary

Lam Chuan Construction Pte Ltd is seeking reliable helpers for daily cleaning and upkeep of our buildings and dormitory areas in Singapore. You will maintain hygienic common spaces, floors, and high-touch surfaces, and assist with waste disposal and supplies management.

Candidates should be physically fit, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and willing to work in a dormitory environment. Prior cleaning experience is advantageous and a positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; basic literacy preferred.
• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep of the building, dormitory areas, and common walkways.
• Ensure all floors, corridors, staircases, toilets, and common areas are kept clean, dry, and hygienic at all times.
• Perform regular sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal duties.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, switches, and shared facilities.
• Ensure rubbish bins are emptied regularly, and waste is disposed of properly.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with company hygiene and safety requirements.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock or damaged cleaning equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages observed within the premises.
• Carryout ad-hoc cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor or management.
