Job summary

HONG YE GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a diligent restroom cleaner to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of facilities.

You will thoroughly sanitise cubicles, toilets, mirrors and floors, replenish supplies, and perform regular inspections to ensure a sanitary environment. The role requires physical fitness and willingness to work weekends/Public holidays, with duties covering cleaning, safety procedures, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of restrooms to ensure cleanliness, hygiene and orderliness.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitise toilet cubicles, toilets, urinals, mirrors, sinks, taps and floors.
• Sweep, mop and dry floors, disinfect surfaces, clean toilet seats and handles, and dispose of rubbish properly.
• Replenish restroom supplies, including toilet paper, soap, paper towels, sanitisers and other necessary items.
• Monitor and maintain restroom cleanliness through regular inspections and touch-ups throughout the day.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, hygienic and presentable at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or repair requirements to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies, arranging replenishments when necessary.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and provide courteous assistance to restroom users.
• Assist with managing toilet queues and directing customers to available cubicles during peak periods, when required.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Display appropriate safety warning signs, such as wet floor signs, during cleaning activities.
• Maintain cleaning records and documentation as required.
• Comply with all workplace health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Perform other related duties, ad hoc tasks and general cleaning of assigned building areas as instructed by the supervisor.
