Job summary

Ley Choon Group Holdings Limited is seeking a drove-labourer style driver to safely operate prime movers with trailers and crane lorries in Singapore. You will load, unload and secure cargo, perform vehicle checks, and follow all safety rules on site.

The role requires 1–2 years of crane lorry experience, a valid Class 5 licence, and strong safety awareness, with a 5.5-day work week at our Singapore facility.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 5 driving licence with a good driving record.
• 1–2 years of proven experience operating prime movers and/or crane lorries.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads, traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
• Familiar with construction site safety requirements and safe loading/unloading practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive prime movers with trailers and crane lorries to transport machinery, equipment, steel and construction materials to designated destinations.
• Operate the lorry crane safely for loading and unloading, working closely with the rigger and signalman.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured with lashing, chains or straps before moving off.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks on the vehicle, trailer and crane to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
• Adhere strictly to company safety procedures, site safety requirements, Workplace Safety and Health requirements, and traffic rules and regulations under the Road Traffic Act at all times.
• Drive defensively and responsibly at all times, taking appropriate precautions to protect pedestrians, other road users, site personnel, the vehicle and transported materials.
• Immediately report any vehicle or crane defects, unsafe conditions, accidents, near misses or incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle, both internally and externally.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked safely at designated locations and returned to the company premises as required.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or HOD.

• Prior experience in logistics, construction or delivery operations will be an advantage.

• Strong safety awareness, responsible work attitude and commitment to safe driving are essential.

• Work Schedule: 5.5 days work week

• Work Location / Vehicle Return: Company premises at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556 (North area)
