Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Claims Recovery Specialist for our client in Raffles Place, Singapore. The role focuses on customer engagement, problem-solving, and achieving recovery targets.

You will manage claims recovery cases, contact policyholders, and coordinate with parties to recover funds. It’s a 6-month contract with renewal potential, working Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree required; insurance qualifications are an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in insurance claims, claims recovery, customer service, collections, telesales or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on claims recovery cases to meet targets.
• Regularly contact policyholders to gather information and support them through third-party claim process.
• Explain, persuade and encourage participation in the recovery process.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls following SOPs and service standards.
• Investigate and coordinate recovery cases with relevant parties for successful outcomes.
• Maintain records of calls, case progress and recovery outcomes.
• Identify potential risks and take appropriate action.
• Stay updated on insurance, regulatory and industry developments for risk management.
• Share ideas to improve processes.
• Support other projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.

Contract: 6 months - renewable/convertible

Salary: Between $3000 - $3500 (Depending on experience) + 0.5 month completion bonus

You will play an important role in helping the company recover eligible claims by engaging policyholders, gathering information and coordinating with relevant third parties.

The Job

• Manage and follow up onclaims recovery cases, ensuring recovery targets are achieved.

• Contact policyholders regularly to gather the necessary information and support them through the third-party claim process.

• Communicate confidently with policyholders and financial representatives toexplain, persuade and encourage participation in the recovery process.

• Handle bothinbound and outbound callsprofessionally while following established SOPs and service standards.

• Investigate and coordinate recovery cases with relevant parties to achieve successful outcomes.

• Maintain accurate records of calls, case progress and recovery outcomes.

• Identify potential operational, regulatory and compliance risks and take appropriate action.

• Stay updated on relevantinsurance, regulatory and industry developmentsto support effective risk management.

• Highlight potential concerns and share ideas or best practices to improve processes.

• Support other projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

• ADiploma or Bachelor's Degree; insurance qualifications are an advantage.

• At least1 year of experience in insurance claims, claims recovery, customer service, collections, telesales or a related field.
