• Manage claims related to H&M and assist with P&I claims.

Job description

• Managing claims (mainly H&M claims, but also assisting the P&I claims team)
• Offering guidance to members regarding insurance-related issues, such as liability and coverage
• Examining technical and survey reports and legal counsel
• PA and GA adjustment preparation and review
• Other possible secondary or auxiliary duties and assignments could be:
• Picking a yard, finding spare parts, creating repair specifications, negotiating, and estimating repair costs
• Vessel's technical rating
• Keep an eye on and investigate technical requirements as well as aspects of vessel safety management.
• Evaluation of potential members' and vessels' risks
• Work on loss prevention, which includes attending seminars, educating members, and fostering business growth
