Job summary

SmartCrete Solutions Pte Ltd seeks a Resident Engineer / Resident Technical Officer (Civil & Structural) to provide on-site supervision and technical support for civil and structural construction projects in Singapore. You will work closely with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and Singapore standards.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
Experience in civil and structural construction, site supervision or consultancy preferred.
Good understanding of civil/structural construction methods, drawings and specs.
Familiar with Singapore Codes of Practice and construction requirements a plus.
Ability to read/interpret structural and civil drawings; strong coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor civil/structural construction works for compliance with drawings and specs.
Conduct regular site inspections and address defects or non-conformities.
Coordinate with Professional Engineer, consultants and contractors on site matters.
Monitor progress and flag delays or technical issues to project team.
Review method statements, shop drawings and material submissions as needed.
Verify materials/workmanship meet approved specs and standards.
Assist in resolving technical issues on site and maintain records.
Attend site meetings and prepare site reports and progress updates.
Oversee rectification works and ensure defects are resolved.
Coordinate inspections, testing and other site activities with relevant parties.
Ensure works comply with Singapore Codes of Practice and regulatory requirements.
