Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (Singapore Branch) is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to assist the C&S Manager in coordinating civil and structural works on construction projects. This role involves reviewing drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications, and coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assist the C&S Manager in managing and coordinating civil and structural works for construction projects.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and relevant project stakeholders on C&S matters.
Review civil and structural drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions.
Monitor C&S works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications and relevant standards.
Assist in resolving technical issues and coordinating design changes during construction.
Conduct site inspections and monitor the progress and quality of C&S works.
Coordinate with the project team to ensure C&S works are carried out in accordance with the project schedule.
Assist in preparing technical reports, submissions and documentation.
Ensure C&S works comply with relevant statutory requirements, safety and quality standards.
Perform other duties related to C&S works as assigned.
