Job summary

OUR RECRUITERS LLP is seeking an Engineer (Civil & Structural) to support Project Managers in executing projects as part of the project team. You will provide technical support across stages from conceptual design to authority submissions and contract administration.

You will prepare schematic designs, layouts, calculations, and specifications, and liaise with external consultants, architects, contractors and suppliers to resolve project issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of civil & structural engineering principles.
• Strong collaboration and coordination with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Project Managers in project execution as part of the project team.
• Provide technical support across conceptual design, design development, contract documentation and authority submissions.
• Prepare schematic design, layout, calculations, reports and specifications.
• Liaise with external consultants, architects, contractors and suppliers to resolve project issues.
• Supervise and review work of Assistant Engineers, Designers and Drafters.
• Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues and improve design standards.
• Develop technical knowledge and competency.
