Job summary

ECAS Consultants Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a civil/structural engineer to execute design and prepare calculations, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

You will assist in tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts. Responsibilities include detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures, collaboration with the Qualified Person, project planning and monitoring, and coordination with authorities during construction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably PE Board recognised).
• Engineers with minimum 1 year of relevant design experience.
• Familiar with latest design codes and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Assist in producing tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts.
• Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures.
• Work with Qualified Person (QP) to develop design scheme for civil and structural works.
• Involve in project planning, implementation and close monitoring of projects.
• Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.
