Job summary

KNS CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil Construction Project Manager to lead projects from start to finish in Singapore.

You will review drawings, prepare schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, conduct site inspections, and manage risks, costs, and claims.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor site progress and ensure construction activities are completed according to approved plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and construction challenges, and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor project costs, material usage, and manpower productivity to maintain budget and schedule objectives.
• Review and approve construction methods, material submissions, and work procedures.
• Ensure quality control through inspections, testing, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and technical correspondence.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on project status, progress, and key issues.
• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of construction materials and equipment.
• Verify completed work for progress claims, subcontractor payments, and project handover.
• Support successful project completion by ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, and client satisfaction.
