Job summary

ONE TARGET EDUCATION HUB PTE. LTD. seeks a full-time Senior Chinese Teacher to deliver engaging face-to-face and online lessons for Primary 4-6 Higher Chinese, helping students reach their fullest potential.

You will develop CL/HCL curricula, mentor new teachers, and maintain proactive communication with students and parents while contributing to curriculum development and meetings. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher certificate in education or relevant field.
• Experience teaching Primary Chinese and Higher Chinese preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore MOE syllabuses for Primary Chinese and Higher Chinese.
• Strong curriculum-development and lesson-planning skills.
• Genuine passion for teaching and nurturing children.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills; willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging face-to-face and online lessons for Primary 4-6 Higher Chinese students.

FULL-TIME SENIOR CHINESE TEACHER

Higher Chinese Classes (Primary 4-6)

We are looking for a highly passionate and committed full-time educator who enjoys nurturing young learners and helping them achieve their fullest potential.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging face-to-face and online lessons in accordance with our curriculum for Primary 4-6 Higher Chinese students.
• Developing and reviewing Chinese Language (CL) and Higher Chinese Language (HCL) curricula and teaching materials.
• Conducting CL/HCL classes and marking students' assignments.
• Training and mentoring new teachers.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents.
• Providing parents with regular updates on their children's performance and learning progress.
• Attending and actively participating in teachers' meetings, training sessions and curriculum-development meetings.
• Working on weekends as required.
• Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong command of written and spoken Chinese.
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably in Primary Chinese and Higher Chinese.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Primary Chinese and Higher Chinese syllabuses.
• Strong curriculum-development and lesson-planning skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing children.
• Good communication, classroom-management and interpersonal skills., including weekends.

• Possesses a Degree or higher certificate in a specified field.
• Able to work 4 weekdays and 2 weekends
• Willingness to work at both the Novena Regency and Jurong East branches
• Ex-MOE or NIE qualified teacher is preferred.
• Ex-school Senior teacher with PSLE experiences, HOD of related department, curriculum writing and Primary school with PSLE paper marking experiences will be a bonus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and classroom management skills.

Salary

Basic Salary for Full time (About 15 classes per week)

SGD 6000 - SGD 10,000
