Job summary

BEECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Chiller Service Technician to install, commission, maintain and repair process chiller systems for semiconductor applications. You will train at Loyang for 2 weeks to 1 month before permanent deployment to the Woodlands site.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, after-hours availability, and the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin with customers. Training is provided, with AWS and a variable bonus aligned to performance.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC or chiller servicing is advantageous.
• Willing to be permanently deployed to Woodlands after training.
• Must communicate in English and Mandarin with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and maintain semiconductor process chiller systems at customer sites.
• Perform workshop repair and maintenance including leak repair and compressor/evaporator replacement.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out emergency repairs at customer sites when required.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow SOPs.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $1,800 - $2,200/month
• Phone Allowance: $50/month

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Chiller Service Technician to install, commission, maintain and repair process chiller systems used in the semiconductor industry.

Successful candidates will undergo approximately 2 weeks to 1 month of training at our Loyang office/workshop before being permanently deployed to the customer site in Woodlands.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and maintain semiconductor process chiller systems at customer sites.
• Perform workshop repair and maintenance, including leak repair, brazing and replacement of compressors, condensers, evaporators and related components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Identify potential equipment maintenance issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Carry out emergency repairs and troubleshooting at customer sites when required.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records according to company SOPs.
• Follow service standards, work instructions and customer requirements.
• Assist customers with technical queries and provide appropriate service support.

Requirements

• NITEC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC or chiller servicing and maintenance.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant technical qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with a background in Refrigeration, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are preferred.
• Knowledge of air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating principles is an advantage.
• Willing to work after hours, weekends and public holidays when required, including short-notice emergency call-outs.
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Hands-on, responsible and good troubleshooting skills.
• Willing to be permanently deployed to the Woodlands customer site after training.
