Job summary

RTX is seeking a Technical Sales & Business Development professional in Singapore to promote precision chillers for semiconductor OEMs, fabs, and OSATs. The role involves building new accounts and coordinating with engineering for tailored solutions.

Ideal candidates have a diploma/degree in a related field, 2–5 years in semiconductor equipment or HVAC, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work in SG with ~20% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment, chillers, HVAC, or similar industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell precision chillers to semiconductor OEMs, fabs, and OSATs.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop customer accounts.
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations based on application needs.
• Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams on solutions and customization.
• Deliver product presentations, training, and technical briefings.
• Build long-term customer relationships to support repeat business.
• Installation, Service & Technical Support.
• Perform or coordinate installation, commissioning, and site acceptance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, and performance verification.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support, including on-call support.

What You Will Do *

Technical Sales & Business Development

Customer Support & Coordination

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers
• Respond to service requests and resolve issues promptly
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and logistics teams
• Participate in customer meetings and regular updates
• Operational & Administrative Duties
• Maintain service reports, logs, and documentation
• Track service activities and managing spare parts
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

Qualifications You Must Have *

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment, chillers, HVAC, or similar industries preferred
• Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply

Technical Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems (compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion devices)
• Familiarity with electrical and control system troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills).

• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency preferred for regional support
• Customer-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Other Requirements

• Willing to travel locally and overseas (~20%)
• Able to work in cleanroom environments
• Willing to provide on-call support when required
• Driving licence preferred
