Job summary

InternSG in Singapore is seeking a Social Worker to conduct comprehensive assessments, collect functional and social information, and develop a holistic case plan to support children and families in early intervention services.

The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team, providing counselling, organizing support packages, and maintaining records for reporting to governing bodies and mean-testing applications.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualifications in Social Work from recognised institutions.
• Experience with families and children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and write up assessments meeting standards and timescales.
• Conduct interviews with service users and their families to assess and review their situation.
• Offer information and counselling support to service users' families.
• Organise and manage packages of support to enable children and their families to lead the fullest lives possible.
• Recommend and sometimes make decisions about the best course of action for a particular child and their family.
• Liaising with and make referrals to other agencies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain accurate records, update records and prepare reports for reporting to governing agencies and government mean-testing application.
• Participate in internal and external training, supervision and teams
