Job summary

The National University Hospital's Child Development Unit seeks a Psychologist to conduct psychometric assessments and deliver intervention programmes for referred pediatric patients. You will document findings, contribute to teaching materials, and participate in research initiatives under supervision.

Qualifications include a Master of Psychology with specialisation in Educational/School or Clinical Psychology and registration or eligibility.

Qualifications

Fresh Master level graduates with relevant work/internship experience prior to/during Masters training.
Applicants with clinical training in conducting assessments and/or providing therapy to children.
A team player who is motivated to provide a high standard of patient care and also able to work independently.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak a second language is preferred.

Responsibilities

To conduct appropriate psychometric assessments and result interpretation for referred patients.
To accurately document assessment findings and make appropriate recommendations.
To develop, implement and evaluate appropriate intervention / group programmes for referred patients.
To develop materials for teaching and training.
To provide in-service training for department staff as needed.
To provide specialised teaching and supervision to psychology interns on clinical attachment.
To contribute to team level operational tasks.
To participate in research projects as a member of the research team, as appropriate.
To provide expertise for queries from magazines, newspapers or other forms of media from our Corporate Communications department.
