Job summary

JAC Recruitment Consultant client, a fast-scaling SaaS company operating across the APAC region, seeks a senior technology leader (CTO/VP Engineering) to define and execute the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.

You will lead engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, and product technology, champion AI adoption, and build high-performing teams to deliver scalable, reliable SaaS solutions that drive growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leader with proven SaaS scalability experience.
• Strong track record building and scaling engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS product development, cloud architecture and security.
• Experience delivering technology roadmaps aligned with business growth.
• Strong interest in AI/ML and applying them to products or operations.

• Define and execute the company's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

• Lead and oversee all aspects of software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, and product technology development.

• Champion the adoption of AI and emerging technologies to enhance products, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

• Drive innovation and ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-performing SaaS solutions.

• Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with commercial goals.

• Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering and technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Evaluate industry trends, market developments, and new technologies to maintain a competitive advantage and support business growth.

• Establish best practices across software development, engineering operations, and technology governance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role such as CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or Engineering Director within a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) company.

• Strong track record of building, scaling, and leading engineering teams in a SaaS environment.

• Deep understanding of SaaS product development, cloud architecture, platform scalability, security, and software delivery best practices.

• Extensive experience in software engineering, technology strategy, and product innovation.

• Demonstrated success in driving technology roadmaps that support business growth, customer acquisition, and product expansion.

• Strong interest in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies with experience applying them to enhance products or business operations.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives with commercial and organizational objectives.

• Experience working in high-growth, international, or multi-market SaaS organizations is highly preferred.
