Chief Technology Officer - Singapore or Malaysia

We're working with a growing technology business in Asia to find their next Chief Technology Officer. The business serves financial institutions and corporates across the region and has ambitious plans.

As CTO you'll take full ownership of engineering and play a hands-on role in how the product itself is built. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit above the detail: you'll need to move fast, ship often, and be as comfortable shaping product direction as you are the technical decisions behind it. This could suit a senior technologist just as well as a senior product leader with a strong engineering background, the title matters less than the ability to do both.

We're looking for someone from a regulated, data-heavy corner of financial or business services technology, or a closely comparable space. You'll need to be genuinely hands-on with strong AI/ML and cloud-native experience, and thrive in a smaller, faster-moving setup rather than a big-company environment.

Mandarin speaking is essential in order to work with other parts of the business.
