Qualifications

• 15+ years in finance leadership, 5+ years as CFO/VP Finance in public or unicorn companies.
• Experience in IPO/M&A/major financing rounds (Series B+).
• Mastery of international financial reporting (US GAAP/IFRS) and multijurisdiction tax optimization.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership
   Develop global financial strategies, optimize capital structure, and support international business scaling.
2. Investment & Financing Management
   Core Focus: Lead equity/debt financing (VC/PE/IPO), M&A, and investor relations; oversee roadshows and deal negotiations;
   Design and implement FX risk mitigation frameworks.
3. Global Financial Compliance
   Ensure multijurisdictional compliance (US GAAP/IFRS), manage crossborder tax structures and deferred tax planning;
   Steer external audits for public companies to secure unqualified opinions.
4. Regulatory & Audit Engagement
   Serve as primary liaison with regulators (e.g., SEC, HKMA, MAS), strengthen internal controls for SOX compliance;
   Establish AML and financial licensing (e.g., EMI, VASP) compliance systems.
5. Business Partnership & Team Development
   Build finance BP functions to drive commercial decisions, lead global finance teams (Accounting/Tax/Treasury/FP&A).

Mandatory Requirements

• Bilingual Proficiency: Native Chinese & executive-level English (for board communications and financial reporting);
• Holistic Experience:
  15+ years in finance leadership, 5+ years as CFO/VP Finance in public or unicorn companies;
• Hands on experience in IPO/M&A/major financing rounds (Series B+);
• Core Expertise:
  Mastery of international financial reporting (US GAAP/IFRS) and multijurisdiction tax optimization;
• Proven track record in financial licensing (e.g., PCI DSS) and cryptoasset regulation (e.g., FATF Travel Rule);
• Industry Preference: FinTech, Payment, Web3/Blockchain, Crossborder Ecommerce;
• Education: Master\'s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, CPA/ACCA/CFA required.
