Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function for a rapid-growth automotive retail business. The CFO will steer financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and governance while partnering with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives and sustainable profitability.

The role requires 12+ years in senior finance leadership, SGX-listed experience, and deep knowledge of SFRS(I), consolidation, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience with senior leadership
• Strong SGX-listed company experience with governance and Board-level reporting
• Strong technical knowledge of SFRS(I), consolidation, taxation, financial reporting and internal controls
• Proven experience leading a full-spectrum finance function
• Hands-on experience with inventory and working capital management
• Experience in automotive/retail/distribution/high-volume industries advantageous
• Strong treasury, cash-flow forecasting and banking experience
• Experience working with senior management, auditors and external advisers
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate financial analysis into business decisions
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance and accounting function with strong financial discipline and controls
• Oversee monthly closing, management reporting, consolidation, budgeting and rolling forecasts

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a rapidly growing automotive retail business in Singapore.

The CFO will provide strategic and operational leadership across financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, working capital, governance, internal controls and commercial finance. The role will work closely with the CEO and senior management team to strengthen financial discipline and support the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance and accounting function, ensuring strong financial discipline and effective financial controls.

• Oversee monthly closing, management reporting, financial consolidation, budgeting and rolling forecasts.

• Ensure timely completion of statutory reporting, audit, tax and regulatory requirements.

• Manage cash flow, treasury, banking relationships, financing facilities and working capital.

• Strengthen balance-sheet management covering inventory, receivables, payables, accruals and financing costs.

• Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Partner with the CEO and senior management on business planning, investments, financial performance and growth strategies.

• Monitor business performance, margins, inventory levels, operating costs and return on capital.

• Strengthen financial processes and controls across the automotive sales and delivery cycle.

• Establish and enhance finance policies, governance frameworks, risk management and internal controls.

• Work closely with external auditors, tax advisers, banks, professional advisers and other key stakeholders.

• Provide high-quality financial information and analysis to senior management and the Board.

• Lead, coach and develop the finance team while establishing clear responsibilities and accountability.

• Drive improvements in finance systems, processes, reporting efficiency and overall finance capability.

• Support corporate development, fund-raising and other strategic initiatives when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

• CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

• Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.

• Strong SGX-listed company experience with exposure to financial reporting, audit, governance and Board-level reporting.

• Strong technical knowledge of SFRS(I), consolidation, taxation, financial reporting and internal controls.

• Proven experience managing a full-spectrum finance function rather than an advisory-only role.

• Hands-on experience in businesses with significant inventory and working capital requirements.

• Experience in automotive, retail, distribution, consumer, mobility or other high-volume industries will be an advantage.

• Strong treasury, cash-flow forecasting, banking and working-capital management experience.

• Experience working with senior management, Board members, auditors and external professional advisers.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn financial analysis into practical business decisions.

• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Hands-on, analytical, commercially minded and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
