Job summary

Equatorial Marine Fuel Management Services Pte. Ltd. seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the safe operation of all machinery aboard a bunker tanker.

You will manage maintenance, readiness of transfer equipment, and ensure compliance with logs, PMS, and defect reporting. The role demands strong leadership and hands-on experience aboard bunker tankers in Singapore. The ideal candidate holds a valid Chief Engineer COC and STCW certifications, with at least 3 years of relevant tanker experience.

Qualifications

• COC for Chief Engineer as per maritime authority.
• STCW certification (Basic Safety, Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Tanker Familiarization).
• Minimum 3 years on bunker tanker in Singapore.
• Cummins engine experience preferred.

Job Description :

• 1.Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all machinery onboard the bunker tanker
• 2. Maintain main engine, auxiliary machinery, pumps and cargo handling systems.
• 3. Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs
• 4 Ensure readiness of bunker transfer equipment and support safe cargo operations.
• 5. Maintain proper documentation and records (logbooks, PMS, defect reporting)
• 6. Support audits, inspections and port/flag state control requirements

Requirements :

• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) for the role issued by recognized maritime authority
• Minimum 3 years of experience onboard bunker tanker operating in Singapore
• STCW-complaint certification (Basic Safety, Advance Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid. Tanker Familiarization etc)
• Experienced on Cummins engine is preferred
