Job summary

You will lead a team, manage regulatory reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely results, while developing talent and delivering projects within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related discipline.
• 12-15 years’ experience in wholesale and retail lending, credit, treasury and trade operational processes.
• Sound knowledge of lending, credit, treasury and trade financing regulations (MAS notices).
• Proven track record in managing a sizeable operation team with strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the processing team including credit administration and regulatory-management reporting, operations and projects delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and projects of wholesale and retail credit administration and operations as well as processing of group regulatory reporting cum management reporting.
• Demonstrate functional and technical expertise to perform core job aspects.
• Formulate system and work processes and drive improvements for operational and project requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of systems, processes, and projects initiatives.
• Manage projects undertaken by the department with agreed terms, within time and budget.
• Perform group regulatory reporting (MAS notices 757, 637, 643/643A, 656, etc.).
• Perform group-management reporting.
• Ensure monitoring of Treasury and Credit Facilities exposure within approved Limits.
• Verify approval on excesses including MTM excesses.
• Ensure security covenants are provided (insurances, valuation reports) throughout deal lifecycle.
• Monitor and comply with financial covenants and project covenants.
