Job summary

Fintech Intel in Singapore is appointing a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the compliance framework and to act as the main liaison with MAS as the business expands regionally across Asia.

You’ll own the compliance framework and drive the strategy to ensure growth remains compliant and sustainable, while overseeing AML/CFT, sanctions and KYC in line with MAS PSN01/PSN02 and licensing expectations.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership in compliance for payments/crypto/digital assets.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore regulatory landscape and the PSA.
• Direct MAS licensing or supervisory engagement experience.
• Strong AML/CFT and business-minded approach.
• Experience presenting to Boards and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the compliance function and set the overall compliance strategy.

• Oversee AML/CFT, sanctions and KYC under MAS PSNs.

Overview
Our client is a regulated payments and digital assets business with a growing footprint across Asia. They’re appointing a Chief Compliance Officer to lead compliance in Singapore and support continued regional expansion.

The Role
You’ll own the compliance framework and act as the key point of contact with MAS, making sure the business grows in a compliant and sustainable way.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the compliance function and set the overall compliance strategy
• Maintain compliance with the Payment Services Act, including DPT and payment services obligations
• Oversee AML/CFT, sanctions and KYC frameworks in line with MAS Notices PSN01 and PSN02
• Act as main liaison with MAS, including licensing matters and inspections
• Report to the Board and senior leadership on regulatory risk and compliance matters
• Build and lead a high-performing compliance team

Candidate Requirements

• Senior compliance leadership experience within payments, crypto or digital assets
• In-depth knowledge of the Singapore regulatory landscape and the PSA
• Direct experience working with MAS on licensing or supervisory engagement

Benefits Package

Up to SGD 340,000 base plus bonus and benefits.
