Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of teaching or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct lectures, tutorials/workshops and laboratory sessions.
• Monitor student progress through assessment strategies.
• Contribute to development of intellectual property for the School.
• Administer coursework and examination setting and marking.
• Review examination papers for quality and alignment.
• Conduct objective assessments on examination appeals.
• Assist in management and development of academics.
• Review teaching assignments and conduct classroom observations.
• Engage in student development with strong learning support.
• Advise students on academic performance and career opportunities.
• Contribute to module design, review and curriculum development.
• Develop course materials and prepare module review reports.
