Job summary

Ecolab is seeking an Intern, Chemist to execute technical laboratory activities in support of technical platform development and to coordinate a water testing project for a global customer.

You will develop/validate analytical methods for testing industrial water samples (cations, anions, volatile organics), perform analyses with IC, GC, ICP, and collaborate with colleagues to meet agreed lead times.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science.
• Willing to work in a testing lab.
• Good communication and team player.
• Working Location: Gul Lane.

The main responsibility is to coordinate a water testing project for a global Ecolab customer, below are the details:

• Develop and/or validate analytical methods to test industrial water samples: cations, anions, volatile / semi-volatile organic compounds etc.

• Work with colleagues within the dept, Ecolab business units and external labs to ensure all the results are ready within the agreed lead time.

• Perform water testing using analytical instruments such as IC, GC, ICP etc.

• Work with colleagues within the dept to answer customer queries.

Requirements
