Job summary

ORAPI Group is seeking a QA/QC Technician in Singapore to inspect and test raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure quality standards. You will manage inventory transactions, assist investigations, maintain documentation, and support quality improvement initiatives in a laboratory environment.

The role involves releasing materials for production based on inspection results while maintaining a clean and safe workspace, with opportunities to support R&D and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, or NITEC in Chemistry.
• 1–2 years of QA/QC laboratory experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
• Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test incoming raw materials, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods to verify quality specifications.
• Verify and release incoming raw materials and packaging materials for production based on inspection results.
• Perform inventory transactions using Microsoft NAV to support quality inspection and product release.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following workplace safety and health regulations.
• Assist in investigating and resolving product and material complaints, rejects, recalls, and customer returns.
• Organize and maintain filing systems for outgoing inspection reports to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Analyze quality data trends and monitor procedural deviations to support quality control reporting.
• Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support QC and R&D teams by preparing laboratory mix samples as required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
