Job summary

TECSIA LUBRICANTS PTE LTD is seeking a Chemist to contribute to product development and quality control for industrial lubricants. The role focuses on formulation support, testing, and documentation to meet regulatory standards.

The candidate will prepare SDS/COA documents, assess new materials, and perform rigorous quality checks to ensure traceability and compliant production processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Material/Polymer Science is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory or product development experience, preferably with industrial lubricants.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with formulation and development on new and existing products.
• Prepare product specifications and safety data sheets (COA, COC) and compliant documents (PDS/SDS).
• Evaluate new and alternative raw materials for regulatory compliance.
• Perform product analysis and controls to ensure quality assurance and traceability.
• Conduct testing and maintain test methods and instruments with safe lab practices.

Summary

The Chemist is responsible for the company’s product development and quality control (in industrial lubricants).

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with product formulation and development on new projects and existing products
• Preparing product specifications and safety data sheets (PDS/SDS) and compliant documents(COA, COC), aligned with industrial and regulatory standards
• Evaluation of new and alternative raw materials that are compliant with regulatory requirements
• Perform product analysis and controls to ensure quality assurance and traceability
• Conduct testing, maintain test methods and instruments with safe laboratory practices

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Material/Polymer Science
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in laboratory works or product developments (particular with industrial lubricants).
• Good analytical skills and team player
