Hua Ying (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced engineer to oversee a water treatment plant and its equipment. The role ensures reliable, high-quality demineralized water aligned with power plant needs and safety standards.

You will monitor steam drum water and feedwater quality, manage chemical treatment systems and support regulatory compliance. This position is based at Tuas South and requires a relevant engineering degree with several years of experience.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in water treatment, industrial chemical processes or a related field.
• Experience in power plant operations, boiler water treatment or industrial water treatment will be an advantage.
• Supervisory experience will be an advantage.
• Willing to work in Tuas South.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the operation and availability of the water treatment plant and its associated equipment and systems.
• Ensure efficient production and quality of demineralized water to meet power plant operational requirements.
• Monitor and control steam drum water and feedwater quality to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
• Monitor chemical treatment and injection systems to maintain boiler water quality and prevent corrosion and scaling.
• Manage the safe handling, storage and control of chemicals in accordance with WSH requirements, company policies and applicable regulations.
• Monitor chemical consumption and inventory, forecast requirements and maintain sufficient stock to support plant operations in a cost-effective manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
